Coping With Insults during an Interview: Tip #1
Have you ever been insulted during a job interview? Though it is painful to be in this kind of situation, I advise that you must choose your reaction very carefully while keeping in mind the possible long-term consequences of your actions.
If you really want to get the job considering all the benefits, pay, promotion opportunities, transportation convenience, and other bonuses then you should therefore think twice before letting the insult cause you to burst into anger which can jeopardize the probability of you getting the job.
Remember that it is equally important to stay calm whether you really want the position or not. In this way, you can prove your ability to show tack and professionalism in this kind of complicated situation. However, if the insult seems to attack your legal and personal rights; then, you might consider doing something about it.

Deja Vu. 2 weeks ago I turned down a job where the interviewer lobbed insults at me without cause. Everyone, (panel interview), seemed uncomfortable at the jabs. I kept my cool, even replied graciously. I also decided that interviewer (future boss), wasn’t someone I could respect let alone work for or with. That interviewer was my first impression of their company and ethics. I enjoy a tough interview - but I came close to walking out of this one. I already have another offer so maybe it’s best I scrape the insult interview off the bottom of my shoe and move on.
