Funny Insults In The Office Setting

There are just times that the working environment in the office can really break your good spirits. I have felt this countless of times already. And with this kind of stress constantly bombarding you, it just can’t be helped that sometimes you blurt out insulting words to your co-workers and sometimes even your boss. Here are some of my experiences that I would like to share with you.

The Apprentice

There was this one situation I was in wherein a new guy has just been hired and I was, in a way, assigned to train him. I thought it was just going to be fine especially when I felt that the new guy really looked up to and was listening to my every word.

Weeks passed by, I was confident that I have already shown him the basics and even some of the intricacies of his job. But oh boy was I wrong. He constantly bothers me with silly questions and queries that he should have learned before. I was patient at first but it came to a point where I can’t take it anymore and I just couldn’t control the words that came out of my mouth, “If I throw a stick, will you leave me alone?” Shocked with what I said, he left me in silence and never spoke to me ever again.

The Blame Game

Usually when proposals don’t push through, there was this boss I had who does not know how to take the blame. He always points his finger at somebody else passing on his mistake to somebody else. It was his characteristic that we, his officemates, have learned to accept about him.

However, there was this one instance when we lost quite a big account and it was because of his “not-so-witty” remarks during presentation. Knowing what his reaction would be, I made the first move and blurted out, “Errors have been made but others will be blamed.” I thought he wouldn’t say anything more but lo and behold, there he goes again blaming other people for the mistakes that he made. If only I could set that laser printer to stun…

  2. The office could be a stressful place to be in especially when deadline is the name of the game. These funny insults usually are products of these ’stress’.
