Humor: The Best Comeback
As we go on through life, we form new relationships while meeting people who may be similar or different from ourselves. Some of them may even say and do things that embarrass us. Those people, perhaps unconsciously, have certain inabilities so to make up for their shortfalls they try to make insults to put us on the spotlight.
An insult for an insult may not always be a good scheme. A more productive comeback, which is called humor, can actually save our face from the disgrace. By laughing hilariously at myself along with the others when a slur is thrown at me, I find that nothing beats the offender off track than one who laughs in the face of insults. Moreover, this approach makes me unlikely as their target because they know that I’ll never take any thing seriously so why not go and find another victim.
